janitor
main one i put my bots on, has all my most recent bots!!! model is outdated but very easy to use. will run into issues with the site and model, and also has been increasing moderation. also you have to c/p to get ST cards (so see the below for downloadable cards). definitions will always be open.
• tl;dr main site, easy to use model but heavily out of date, proxy support for OpenAI compatible endpoints, public definitions (i will always keep them open).chub
AO3-esque rules in this site (meaning its most uncensored of the sites). so you must use block tag liberally. has the best and least buggy source of ST cards import/export and lorebooks. also as they want to protect privacy, for certain countries people have to use a certain tool (vee pee en) in order to navigate the search of the site to look at NSFW bots.
• tl;dr average model (need presets or API), limited proxy/API support, public definitions, fully featured ST cards and lorebook downloads available that work anywhere, no need for account if you just want ST cards.wyvern
featherless.ai's own site, including free models. their lorebooks exports are compatible with ST, including their system, Lexicons (it translates to ST lorebook compatible). also unlike chub, character lorebooks attached to cards do not export along with the character card. it will export as a lorebook-less character card, but that's okay I will link to the lorebook or the chub version. as a chat site it's one of the best ones out there imo, it has cool features like Worlds.
• a note for creators who wanna upload: uploaded public bots in explicit category has an automod. everything janitor allows plus a few other things (more lenient). this also include family bots/parents with offspring as side characters, and dead doves. all private bots and private chats, they don't look nor give a crap.
• private bot limitation note: you'll see you start off with 30 private bot slots. this increases by 5 for every public bot uploaded.
• tl;dr beta site, customizable presets for models, full proxy/API support including custom, public definitions, plain ST cards (no lorebooks attached), lorebooks still downloadable, their lexicon system turns into ST lorebook compatible. may need an account to navigate.saucepan
WIP. at the moment its like a jai with no third party support, but with alt greetings and lorebooks. there are some things in it that are odd choices (users can't change temperature), but it is a new site. definitions will always be open.

frontends i use

agnaistic
my main one. also comes with models so you don't need to source your own api. but if you want, you can, it has full proxy and API support. essential for me making my bots, because the free models (stheno 3.2) are so good to test with (and play with). can use ST cards, lorebooks, etc. as it's a website with a cloud service, you can use it anywhere on any device. private. it has an ST card hosting service (char.as) but it's in beta so i'm waiting for it to be fully featured.
• for presets and information that we use, use Agnai server, or go to Deviant District or Potato Club discord servers because we have some there.sillytavern
on occasion if i need to use a particular preset and needs the focus. i prefer agnaistic for ease, as i don't really need the sillytavern add ons. the lack of cloud like on agnai and longer ways to install means i'll be on agnai more between the two since i'm time poor. i still love it!!!
